Muslims in Canada are affected by Islamophobia – being subjected to or bearing witness to hateful speech, Islamophobic comments and attitudes.

This video uses first-person, direct-to-camera testimonials to help bring to light some of the issues and realities facing Canadian Muslims, and to point out how and why Islamophobia is wrong. In this video, young Muslims of a range of ages tell their stories, ultimately asking “Why do they hate us?”
